Tickets

Please select your desired visit day and an admission time. You will then be admitted to the museum at the admission time you have selected. After that, you can stay as long as you like within the opening hours.

 

Notes:

  • Each visitor needs a ticket.
  • In the case of discounted tickets, please always bring your proof of eligibility for discount.
  • Direkt admission for members and school members: No additional admission ticket or reservation required. You can go straight to the entrance.
  • Calendar: The quickest way is to just skip the calendar and select the timeslot directly below.
  • Advance sales: Advance sales are activated for three weeks.

 

Ticket Descriptions:

Family ticket: Up to two adults with their own children aged 6 to 17 years.

Discounted: Children and young people from 6 to 17 years | pupils, trainees and students (full time) | participants of federal voluntary service, voluntary social/ecological year | Severely disabled adults (accompanying person free of charge) | holders of the Munich Pass | holders of the District Pass Munich | "Bürgergeld" (citiziens´ allowance) | asylum seekers | holders of the Bavarian Volunteer Card.

Please note: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Discounted senior sitizens: From 65 years or with a valid pension card | Monday to Friday € 8 | Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays no discount (regular admission fee).

Group ticket pupils, trainees, students: From 10 paying persons. One accompanying person free for every 10 paying persons - the control takes place at the entrance. Monday to Friday € 3. Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays € 8.

Group ticket adults: From 15 paying persons. One accompanying person free for every 15 paying persons.

Free admission for others: Severely disabled children and young people from 6 to 17 years | Accompanies of severely disabled visitors with registered B | Press | Teachers preparing for lessons (with a letter from the school and date of the visit) | Members of ICOM | Members of the German Museum Association | Federal associaton of guest guides | Munich City Pass | Bavarian Order of Merit | Legitimate cooperations. 

 

The museum will be closed on 18 April (Good Friday) and on 1 May (Labour Day).

On 5 May the museum will be open only from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Online tickets are not available for this day.

 

Celebrate 100 years of the Deutsches Museum with us (see the full program here) on Museum Island:

  • May 9th, Pupil´s day: Free admission for all pupils. An accompanying adult is also admitted free of charge for pupils under the age of 18. Please bring your pupil ID card with you. Free pupil day tickets will be available here in the shop from April 19th. Note: Members of the Deutsches Museum do not need a ticket, as usual. This offer is not aimed at students.
  • May 10th: Free admission for everyone. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • May 11th: Freee admission for everyone. The museum is open as usual from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
